Popular Ghanaian gospel musician, Joyce Blessing, has disclosed that she is extremely disappointed in her managers for abandoning her on her birthday
According to the gospel singer, Tuesday, May 14, 2018, was her birthday, but she was conspicuously ignored by Zylofon Media management, after she planned to donate to Akropong School for the Blind.
In a report by radioxyzonline.com , Joyce Blessing said although the donation was part of her birthday celebration, which had been well advertised on Zylofon Media platforms, she did not get any support from the company.
The musician in a report said Zylofon Media in radio commercials had called on corporate bodies to support the project, but when the time came for the event, she was left on her own.
“I’m not okay. I’m so disappointed…They [Zylofon] were in charge of the programme and promoted it on their social media platforms. Arnold himself announced the event on Peace FM, and I was even interviewed on Zylofon FM prior to the event,” ' Angry' Joyce Blessing said on Power FM.
The singer hi her conversation added that, everything was running smoothly until she was abandoned by Zylofon at the last hour of the event.
However, the Communications Director for Zylofon Media, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, on Tuesday told Power FM that he could not comment extensively on the development, but added that Joyce Blessing had “the blessing of the company.”
Meanwhile, sources close to Power FM have revealed that the musician is extremely angry and has ignored all attempts by the company to explain matters to her.
