Lilwin destroyed my acting career - Kwaku Manu

Popular Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu, has disclosed that his Kumawood acting career suffered serious setbacks due to the handy work of his own friend. According to the actor, three of his industry colleagues led by Kwadwo Nkansah (aka Lilwin) led to his downfall in the movie industry.

Taking his Ride on Zionfelix’s Celebrity Show, Kwaku Manu revealed that Lilwin and his other colleagues seriously stood against him and made terrible remarks about him to many Kumawood movie producers.

The actor maintained that his friend, Kwadwo Nkansah and his gang’s hatred for him became so intense that he [Lilwin], openly told movie producers he was not ready to work with him on set.

Kwaku Manu in his account stressed that the decision by producers to sideline him on the request of his one-time friend, Lilwin has heavily affected his career till date.

The Kumawood actor lamented that he contributed and assisted Lilwin when he was coming up, therefore it is sad for him to see him destroy his brand so fast.

“It got a point my name was everywhere but I didn’t have a dime in my account because I was not being giving roles by movie producers. All is because of my own colleagues, including Lilwin,” Kwaku narrated. The Kumawood star added that despite all the treatment meted out to him by his Kumawood friends, he is still focused with his life and has forgiven them.

Ghanaian actor, Peter Ritchie, has jabbed self-acclaimed marriage Counselor George Lutterodt, labeling his wife as a commercial sex worker (ashawo)

The actor who is not happy about Counselor Lutterodt’s public utterances appears to be paying him back in his own coin for calling actress Yvonne Nelson names.

Actor Ritchie in strong words, described George Lutterodt’s wife and other female family members as prostitutes (ashawo).

“Mr so-called Counselor Lutterodt or whatever that your name is, I am very much disappointed in you and your statements these days about womanhood. It is only in Ghana that you will have these platforms to be heard…”

“But hear this, if someone’s daughter (Yvonne Nelson) is ashawo as you said, then your own great great grandmother is ashawo, your great grandmother is ashawo, your grandmother is ashawo, your mother is ashawo, your wife is ashawo and soon your daughter will be ashawo. Be advised nonsense,” actor Peter Ritchie expressed on social media.

The controversial Counselor has gained notoriety for verbally abusing women on TV and radio platforms.

The Counselor who was speaking recently on TV Africa labeled Ghana’s famous actress, Yvonne Nelson a born-one, shameless 'prostitute'.

Kumawood actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko is an occultist

Self-styled Ghanaian evangelist, Emmanuel Addai has made claims that Kumawood actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko is an astute member of the “dark act” of occultism and must be feared by all God-loving Ghanaians.

According to the evangelist, actor Bernard Nyarko possesses an occult ring which possesses the power to secure roles for him in the movie industry.

He also continued that the said ring also helps him garner a lot of followers and admirers.

As such, Emmanuel Addai warned Ghanaians to be wary of the actor.

However, Bishop Bernard in a Facebook live has declared null and void the claims of the US-based Ghanaian evangelist Emmanuel Addai.

In the voice of the popular Kumawood actor, such claims are baseless because the ‘occultic ring’ under consideration was used for a movie role and has no link with occultism or whatsoever.

Angry Bishop Bernard Nyarko in the video dared evangelist Emmanuel Addai to desist from tarnishing his reputation else God will struck him in the days ahead.

As a reminder, this is not the first time, Evangelist Emmanuel Addai has claimed some celebrities to be into occultic practices.

Ghana movie industry dead - Akrobeto

Veteran actor Akwesi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, has labelled the Ghanaian movie industry as a dead business.

The actor chatting with ghanawinds opined that Ghanaians do not purchase movies in recent times so he has decided to join the comedy show on television.

He noted with resentment will not be bothered if Ghanaians do not purchase his movies after the 2016 polls because it will not make any difference from what is happening now since movie sales have dwindled and the movie industry is already dead.

The industry is already dead so what system I’m I going to get back to? I shoot my own movies. So if I shoot my movies and Ghana is not buying, I have to go back to my comedy.

All the market is now in Nigeria so there is nothing that I do or say in Ghana that will affect me in anyway because there is no system for the movie industry. It is already dead.

$600 Million found by farmer, gives it to police

The news that a Colombian farmer finds $600,000,000 in drug money buried on his farm has created a modern day “Gold Rush” as people are now flocking to the Colombian countryside with echo sounders and all kinds of scanning equipment, searching for more of Pablo Escobar’s hidden money pits.

Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria (December 1, 1949 – December 2, 1993) was a notorious Colombian drug lord who at the height of his career, supplied about 80% of the cocaine smuggled into the US.

Known as “The King of Cocaine”, he was the wealthiest criminal in history, with an estimated known net worth of US$30 billion by the early 1990s, and approximately US$50 billion when including money that was buried in different areas of Colombia.

At the height of its power, Pablo Escobar’s drug cartel was smuggling fifteen tons of cocaine (worth more than half a billion dollars) into the United States every single day.

He made so much money that he had to spend $1000 per week purchasing rubber bands to wrap the stacks of cash.

Pablo had so much money that he could not possibly spend it all. He had over 800 luxury mansions all over Colombia, owned football teams, he gave away billions of dollars to help build hospital’s, schools, work programs and even rebuilt entire ghettos for the poverty stricken people of Colombia.

Even with all that going on, he still had too much cash to hide. So he started to bury it all over Colombia. The location of each money pit was known by only Pablo and his three closest associates.

When Pablo was finally killed, the location of many of these money pits died with him. The CIA estimates there to be about 100 of these money pits that have yet to be discovered, each containing between five hundred million to one billion dollars.

Fast forward to today. Meet Jose Mariena Cartolos, a 65 year old farmer who recently received a $3000 grant from the Colombian government to help him start a palm oil plantation on land that has been in his family for over 200 years.

While digging the irrigation trench for the plantation, Jose discovered something big beneath his feet. After further excavation, Jose discovered several large blue containers with something incredible inside.

Money, not just a few hundred dollars, not even a million dollars, heck not even 100 million dollars. This 65 year old farmer with nothing but the shirt on his back had managed to find one of Pablo Escobar’s money pit’s containing a whopping $600,000,000. Yup thats right, six hundred million dollars.

“Akufo-Addo wicked than Nebuchadnezzar, Iddi Amin combined”

A communications team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has described President Nana Akufo-Addo as a ‘wicked’ President who does not have the well-being of the poor at heart.

According to the vociferous NDC communicator, the ‘wicked’ nature of the President caused him to approve the eviction of hawkers and squatters around his residence in Nima.

“The president is very wicked, otherwise he wouldn’t have approved of the eviction of the squatters near his house…” he said.

Traders and squatters around the Nima residence of the President finally moved out after a directive for them to vacate the premises expired Thursday, March 15.

The National Security is set to take over the land which is directly opposite the president’s house.

And Sammy Gyamfi, speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Friday, said the President has demonstrated that he is wicked than Biblical King, Nebuchadnezzar, and former Ugandan dictator, Iddi Amin

“I wonder if he came to steal, kill and destroy because he is wicked than Nebuchadnezzar, Iddi Amin, a very heartless man…,” he said.

Sammy Gyamfi said his description of the President is borne out of the fact that the “poor people” around the President’s house wouldn’t have been ejected if he had moved to the Flagstaff House.

“The President had a choice to continuously live with the poor neighbors but he chose to sack them because he’s wicked and fed up with the poor people after begging them to vote for him…,” Sammy Gyamfi stated.
