Tarkwa MP is sabotaging the work of the MCE

MCE

MP

The growing trend at which New Patriotic Party’s Members of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem thwarting the collective efforts of the municipal Chief Executive, Mr. K. B. Asmah and the assembly, is very devastating.

In recent past, Tarkwa MP have deliberately used their political clout to foil evacuation exercises, passed by the general assembly with impunity.

Reports suggest that, not only did Mr. Meraku Duka resisted such an exercise to be carried out at Tarkwa main station after the approval of General Assembly, a highest decision making body of the assembly, but also abused the Municipal Chief Executive verbally, before the dravers and the Restoration Works Crew of the Assembly.

Ghanawinds News’ Ekow Austy contacted the MCE on the subject but declined to comment on matter saying, “it is one of those things, let’s leave this matter for now. But I can assure you that, the assembly’s resolution shall be passed without any opposition” he stated.

Latest to join the fray, is the PM Mr.Ben Kese , who aggressively resisted the same exercise. According to the municipal Chief Executive, the assembly resolved to evacuate the drivers after several request from the public. And am surprised our MP is doing this, since it wasn’t my sole decision, but that of the collective assembly of which they are part of ” he opined.

10 armed men storm automobile company in stunning daylight robbery

At least 10 armed men have stormed Royal Motors, an automobile company in Accra, making away with the company's sales in a stunning daylight robbery Tuesday morning.

Ghanawinds Ekow Austy, who spoke to eyewitnesses reported the robbers trailed a bullion van that had entered the Industrial Area premises of the company to collect the company's sales made the previous day.

The van dropped off a cashier who was detailed to count the money and later contacted the driver to come pick him up.

Soon after, the suspects in a car drove into the premises. They attacked a security man in his cubicle, took his phones and roughed him up.

While at this, one of the suspects entered into the secretary's office under the pretext of negotiating the purchase of a mmotorbik.

Although the conversation was meant to distract the secretary, it was the beatings outside that finally caught her attention.

But before she could seek help for the security man, her potential customer-turned-actual-robber, threatened her as the other suspects wore masks and stormed the office.

They fired guns, destroyed glass windows and snatched 8,000 cedis from the secretary's office.

The robbers also entered another room where cash from the previous day was being counted. They attacked the cashier, took the money and destroyed a CCTV camera.

We're thieves, not robbers - Convicts protest in court

There was drama in court when two people who had been found guilty and sentenced got courage to correct a 'mistake' by the magistrate.

The two bravely pointed out to the magistrate that they were 'thieves' and not 'armed robbers as she had called them.

Appearing before the Isolo Magistrates court in Nigeria, Akeem Jimoh and Rafiu Afolayan were reported by PM EXPRESS to have told the presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Teluwo that “Please, we are thieves, not armed robbers”, after she had sentence them to one year each in prison.

Explaining their point, the reports stated, Akeem and Rafiu told the court that unlike armed robbers who go about their criminal acts violently by using dangerous weapons, they only go out at night to break into people’s shops and steal their valuables for sale.

The convicts emphasized that they chose to be harmless and when they visited a particular shop and the owner was around all they did was to return and come back later.

They were unlucky when with their last operation which they broke into a shop of one Mrs. Lolade Alanga at Suebatu Street Oshodi Road in Oshodi, Lagos at night and made away with items valued at N3m

While attempting to sell the stolen goods at Aswani market, they got caught after security operatives in the market became suspicious of them.

They were then handed over to the police where they admitted to stealing the items and were charged with conspiracy and stealing.

Apparently, the presiding magistrate had referred to them as armed robbers during proceedings but the convicts had remained quiet.

But after realising that the damage had already been done, they decided to educate the judge that, per their modus operandi, there is a vast distinction between them and armed robbers.

Prophet names three top Kumawood actors to die in 2018

Reverend Osei Bismark, Leader and Founder of Word Fire International Ministry at Alonso Dompoase a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region has revealed names of three Kumawood actors to die.

The Man of God failed to disclose how the three actors will die but said on Angel FM last Friday during station’s Drive Time show that his prophecies are bound to happen unless those involved pray to avert the misfortune.

He also stressed that there is no fear in him as he was set to mention names of the said actors when the presenter dissociated himself and the station from his utterances. “You can’t be a coward and pretend to serve God”. Rev. Osei said.

‘Those with ears must listen and work towards this’, he said as he began mentioning.

“God revealed to me many actors, which I know only three of them. They were Big Akwes, Michael Afrane and Oboy Siki, these are the names I remember”. He revealed

The man of God further revealed others saying there is one with dreadlocks though he claimed to have forgotten his name stressing that, as a prophet, he has not taken money from anyone for what he said.

“I haven’t taken any amount from anybody; I know why I’m saying this. I don’t even know them neither have I met any of them before, I’m not trying to destroy anybody”. Rev. Osei pleaded.

This is not the first time a Man of God has Prophesied ‘death’ on players in the Creative Arts Industry in Ghana.

Rev. Osei Bismark however stated that those mentioned could be redeemed should they pray and work towards the revelation but not necessarily coming to him for prayers.
